My pretty Mandevilla

My mandevilla is growing well..

I just found out that if you want more bushier plant just use fingers and pinch off 1/4 to 1/2 inch off the end of stem.I should do this the next time I do gardening.

Seeing unopen buds always gets me excited.

So pretty but they were facing towards my neighbours garden.Grrrr.....

Wondering whether mandevilla can have different shades of colour in the same plant?

Rose garden come true

Somewhere last week something strike my mind when I passed through my rose garden.I just realised that I have made one of my garden dreams come true which was to have a rose garden of my own.And I did it!!
I have pink,red,orange/red,orange and white colored roses and small miniature roses.I havent taken any effort yet to know their names which I think I should do in near future.

I know I cannot expect my garden to be very bushy like the  ones in Cameron Highland as the weather was very hot lately. But they still bloom for me...

Some close up view of the roses...
Just bought this one at Jusco.Hope it will survive.

I was so excited seeing so many buds and couldnt wait for them to open. When I bought this rose plant I thought it will be yellow in colour.
When it turned out to be a  burst of orange roses lighting up the garden.

This is one of the original surviving rose that still live when I moved to KL.I love this colour on my lips....

These small orange/red roses were the ones I bought at MAHA Expo last year.

It looks so velvety..

Love these pinks..

To tell the truth I never thought I could achieve all these because I always thought planting roses is difficult.I realised that what I need to do is checking them regularly for insects, give them fertilizer(I think the spray ones work wonders!),give them teabags and banana skin and regularly prune them after the flowers dry up.
I just wish they are more bigger and I certainly need to add more colours of roses there...
